OUR HISTORY

The story of La Cremeria Gelati & C. began in Novara in 1983 when Gaetano, the founder, started working for fun at the age of 17 in a well-known ice-cream parlour in the city centre.

It was there that he discovered his passion for this art from a couple of artisan ice-cream recipes, which over time led him to improve and turn his passion into a job.

Returning to Mottola, in 1987 he took over a historic bar in the centre of town, immediately transforming it into a Bar-Gelateria.

Thus began the direct production of artisanal ice cream with the classic Spumone with hazelnut and fiordilatte flavours, which became a visiting card in the distribution of ice cream and parfaits to many restaurants in the area.

In 2007, a new ice cream parlour with an innovative laboratory was opened, allowing the production of a wide range of products.

In 2022 our story continues and the art and passion for ice cream is handed down from father to daughter with a complete restyling of the premises and expansion of the confectionery offer.

We have participated in numerous competition events, which have allowed us to grow, meet professionals and confront a constantly evolving world. Some of these have seen us as protagonists.
